The NEW Legion of Myth Message Board
Most of us have known about this probable change for a few days now, but I wanted to give folks the opportunity to comment on the situation ... starting with the officers and moving on down. Colonel Kodoss mentioned to me that he had some things to say about the new message board, and I awaited his comments. However, that was three days ago and we must move on ahead.
Colonel Kodoss, if you have anything to say (good, bad, or otherwise) let me know. Although we won't stop the move now, I will do what I can to make it as painless as possible for everyone. And as always, suggestions for improvement are welcome!!
So, why are we making this move?
The main reason is so that we bring both of the Legion of Myth divisions together. With proboards, EzBoards, or Guild Portal this wouldn't be possible ... not in the manner that we desire. However, with phpbb it is possible ... and very efficient. Now LoM SWG and LoM WoW can actually be more of the friends and family that we were going for, and officers only have ONE message board to check now, not three.
Don't worry, we still have our 'private' forums (as does LoM WoW) - only the House of Scions has complete access.
People sometimes don't like change, but this has been embraced by you all MUCH more positively than I ever imagined. I thought it would take two weeks to sell this and to work through the bugs, yet it happened in three days. And the response has been overwhelmingly positive.
I’m not going to delete those old proboards here, but I will be locking them down – probably this weekend.
