I have again digressed into a sort of i wanna start over my char im not that far i could definately recover. mainly cause of the armor situation and the lack of officer advancement i would really enjoy a more political involved role. So i need for you guys to give me viable reasont not to start over my char. and considering all of the evidence i would make my decision my question for callandryn would be would i need to become a recruit again or would i just be a "you were never a wookiee you must have been sucking back scramjet again"
so i owuld greatly apprecdiate your input
Thank you Chalrhynn

Don't start your character over because: ~ Even though we 'in-character' are pro-human, out of character we like the diversity. I mean, hey, I haven't seen bowe in ages so, I need someone to call the guild 'rug'. hehe Seriously though, if you ever feel that we aren't treating you fairly as a player, let me know. Inside guild chat we are a family ... in public channels you're an overgrown ewok. ~ Not everyone will be able to be an officer - even those who may be qualified and deserve it. Officers are granted to those who best fit the position ... this also means there has to be a position (or a need for a position). We can't generate one just to promote long time or even great members. (That's why we have 5 Enlisted ranks - to reward great members). Thorsen was an exception. His position was created not because he's been in the guild a while, but rather because he's playing a merchant and plans to stay a merchant. He has taken pains to try to make LoM economically productive and endeavors to continue this pattern. I couldn't find an existing position that he'd fit under, so he got his own. And believe me, I do expect a lot from the officers. Thorsen doesn't just have a pretty title and a neat gold shield, he has reports due, a plan to put together, and he has to be productive in his field. ~ I made your sig already. I don't want to re-do it. hehe Look how long it took to get this one done. LOL! ~ I may think of more later, but for now I'll finish with ... If you like playing a wookie, then no one here can wish you to change. You are right, you do lose out on the possibility of being a Senior Officer. But being human does not guarantee you to be an officer either. I think you should play how you want: If you want the chance at being an officer and if you don't want to have the feel of being treated as less than human, then I'd say change to human. If you like being a wookie, and all the race brings you as a star wars fan and a player in the game, then there's no reson to change. There's more to be said for respect than can ever be said for being an officer. (On a little tangent, as I talked to Shayla and Aja about, no one is getting paid here in LoM (there's no pay raise with a new rank), no one gets a company car ... we're not the real military. So rank means nothing more than you have more work (in-game and out-of-game) to do for me and the guild on a daily basis.) You are a member of LoM. If you reroll your character that does not change.

Besides, you have a really well thought out origin that tries in with Kidio also... I'm looking forward to hearing more storyline develop with you two But, I'm sure you can come up with another interesting origin. If you do reroll, let me know, and i'll free up a few plots. You can transfer your house to me, and when your new character comes online, I can transfer it back to you (though I'm sure anyone would help you do so) That way, you don't lose your nice piece of Real-Estate so close to the Imperial Outpost.

To be honest, I have immeasureable respect for someone who would play a wookie in an imp guild. Hell, I knew I would be imp because it would be the harder to rp than a rebel (also I was absolutely sure all whiners would become rebel.)
I'm human because I've gone the slave route before.. it was a blast, but really, play what you like.
Just FYI, if you were a powergamer you wouldn't make it here, we're way to laid back, just ask General Nutmeg.

General Nutmeg er Callandryn is right. When I became an Officer I took up the job of external relations and with that I picked up a legistical nightmare. Not realy due to me being a Entertainer I didn't have to go out to much everyone because everyone needs a bit of entertainment, so they would come to me. However the contact part of it is a bit of a pain since hardly anyone replies to my messages. With the rank also come a ton of messgae board messages you need to read. Before I make Lt. Col. It would take up too 1/2 hour Plus to read if not reply to all the messages. Also with the history that follows wookies (that you nicely added to your History) {those of you who don't know they were slave} you made an excelent character consept and an enjoyable allie. I think it also says alot about your character to be in a guild that is Pro-Human. Well this is my 2 cents. Shalya

Chalrhynn , let me also encourage you to keep the path you have chosen. Ask yourself why did you pick a wookie as the ever first character you created. I ve seen so many people in MMoprgs change their Race , class etc , just to go back to the first "template" they took from the start after they have dabbled in others. Let me assure you , no matter if you are a wookie , a human , a stinkin Zab or whatever, your guild will always support you as a member of the legion.

Well when Me and Max were setting this guild up, we came upon something "can a non-human rise above Jr Officer?" Well I think when someone goes above and beyond, they should get a review and may be aloud. This has happened in the empire before, so you never know lol. (also I have no say in stuff like this anymore so don't that my word for anything lol)
