i would so be up for this i love going to socials as such and just enjoying the atmosphere but my dnd group have a tradition...... one of the players b-day is on january first so we all get together on the first of the year to sort of kick off the year of dnd fun and we usually play some dagorhir(make weapons out of pvc and foam and beat eachother like in a battle) and eat alot of food my favorite part ;D

im sorry i cant attend just thought it'd be nice if i gave you a reason instead of well maybe i can go and then not show up
