Instant Messaging
Anyone who has ever seen me post on this topic before knows what I like. I prefer ICQ because of the ability to send messages to users that are non online. Also, I miss MSN messages a lot if I turn my head away for more than 5 seconds. So, I think we should use ICQ, but I want to know what you folks think.
Voice Communication
I have Microsoft Game Voice, however ...
{sigh}
... I didn’t bring the driver CD to Kuwait. Why? Well, I have NEVER before heard of a company not having their drivers on their web site. Thank you Nazisoft for being so controlling that I have to BUY the driver for a product I already own. (Or try to explain to my folks where it’s packed and have them ship it to me ... grrrr).
Anyway, what I did find out is that this thing still works with Team Speak, Battle Commander and so forth. now, I don’t think it should be ‘required’, but it sure could facilitate communication if we used a voice communication system. What do you all think?
If any of you have experience with this stuff (VoiceComm) and want to take the lead in this effort let me know. You’ll have a JrO position (within Internal Relations department) for sure.
