Looking for some input as to what type of armor to get; I recently got rid of my Bone Armor (in exchange for some new threads ), but I would like to keep a set of armor as well. What I'm looking for is something in the light to medium range, both in weight and protection, where I can get it, and about how much I should put aside. I'm also looking for a line on a new carbine, if anyone has any suggestions . P.S. Does anyone know how to use Skill Enhancing Tapes; and what's the deal with "socketed" clothes? Thanks .

ubese is what you should shoot for, I got a full set, most of it cost 1000-3000 per piece.

Yep , Ubese is pretty cool. And skill enhancing items that look like tapes and socketed clothes are in close relation to each other. Just drag and drop a skill enancer over a socketed cloth and tadaaaa. No idea regarding carbines , i would ask some carabineers ingame what they use.

Funny thing, right after I made the post I tried that and it worked. As far as a carbine, I got my hands on a modified E11, and it works rather well, considering if I'm facing off against a red marksman type I usually come out the victor What are your feelings about padded armor? I have a couple of pieces already, but if Ubese is better than I can easily get rid of them. Also, how do you guys feel about personal shield generators; worth it, or just extra baggage?
