So, what's the secret? Due to obsence lag I can't really stand around at the Theed Starport (I can, but by the time I turn around to see who just needed a skill I had trained, someone with a better comp has gotten them.)
Is there some way else? I can't really see it if there is..

I go to the cantina to advertise my skill type but I am an Entertainer so it is a bit easyer for me ;D. However I have seen others do that as well as sending shouts out. Shayla

welp, I got mine the quickest when I'd advertise what i have with a little macro plus state that I'd pay 1000 credits or 2000 credits per skill. You'll find those people who have untrained skills, but will train then untrain them again so you can grind off a bunch of points. (and spend about 30K) But also, i find that i have better luck in lower population areas for training when people are just looking for training randomly... people GO to Corellia to find those that are in need of training, so you have 5 million people shouting out what skills they can train. But the smaller areas you'll get a lot less of those and have a better chance nabbing a newb by the starport to train up. Also, another strategy is to hang out by the NPC of your profession in a busy town. A lot of times you'll find people that don't bother looking for training from PC's and just go to the NPC. You can try to train those people as they arrive... and since usually the architect trainer is by a crafting station, you can kill 2 birds with one stone and get some crafting done while you wait
