For sometime we have been discussing the probability of bringing all of LoM together, but wondering how we can accomplish this.
I mean come on, I know that LoM SWG and LoM WoW don't really give two shits about each other ... and that's not good. In the opinion of Silvan and I, one of the reasons for this is because we're here (on this board) and they are there (on that board) ... and no one ever uses the LoM Main boards. Because of this, we never get the opportunity to chat with them or they with us.
In an effort to bring us together we are looking into a message board ... A SINGLE message board ... that can accommodate all of our LoM needs.

I'm not asking you to spend a lot of time there, but we need the board played with (beta tested by you) as you have the time. Your suggestions and input will help us make this board both user friendly and tailored to our needs.
Once you have had a couple of days on this, I'll bring in the rest of the membership. Then eventually we’ll include the entire membership.
phpbb is an Open Source message board - much like Linux is an open source operating system. Because of that we have infinite customability ... but as Linux, it's a pain to make work as you have to get into the actual coding of the board.

~ I HATE the color scheme. But unlike most other message boards, that's the hardest thing to change here. I will attack this problem ASAP, first we just need the message board up and running properly and efficiently.
~ I LOVE the permission options. If you know anything about WinNT, 2000, XP Pro it's very much the same with user and group level permissions. And this more than makes up for the color scheme issues.
