Damn, looks good. I'm not used to looking at something like that and not ending up editing 1/2 of it. I'll look at it again when I'm at work and see if I have any suggestions, but at first look - I like.
OH ...
That's 3 things. ;D

Hehehe... the funny thing is that as I wrote the three things I thought of that, but never went back and changed it.
Also, if you could specify exactly which changes you want we can make this a reality and move on to other things.
Edit: Changed two to three. Added color to key words.

The Star Wars Galaxies draft:
Welcome {Name}, the General is most pleased you wish to serve him and the Empire.
Thank you for your application to the Legion of Myth (SWG). You have just made the first step in becoming a member of one of the finest and most respected guilds in Massively Multiplayer games today. The Legion of Myth spans many different gaming universes from fantasy to sci-fi and beyond. While each game has its own rules and characters, we are all bound together in the Legion of Myth family.
Undoubtedly you are wondering where to begin. You are probably also wondering what exactly LoM stands for, and what your part will be in the next few months.
You have already taken the most important step; you have made the decision to apply. Upon applying you should have created a message board account. If you have not done so already, please create a message board account, as we cannot process your application until you do.
Please take the time to read our charter and our rules and regulations. All members are held accountable to them. Alternately, you should be aware of these rules because the existing members will be required to treat you according to the charter.
Upon receipt of this letter you are officially in the Trial Phase of your application. During this phase you will be limited to posting and reading the public forums while the officers and members of LoM will be evaluating you through your posts. They will be looking for maturity, dedication, creativity, community involvement, and willingness to help others. Well thought out posts account for much more than just post count. Since we are a roleplaying guild, it might be a nice idea to stop by the local cantina and introduce yourself – in character, of course.
Your Trial Phase should last up to five (5) days. At the end of that time you will be evaluated. If you are found to fit the qualities that we are looking for you will move on to the Recruit Phase.
During the Recruit Phase you will be put in a mentoring program, the main guild boards will be opened to you, and you will be encouraged to post and post often. Your mentors will be there to help get you situated in the guild and help you to understand the rules and values. They are also your contact for any questions you may have.
At this time you will also earn your Signature Block Uniform (SBU). You are to display your SBU whenever you post to identify yourself as part of LoM. If you are not the artistic type, there are plenty of people who love to make tags. Just get with one of them, provide a good picture (at least a link to it), and see what they come up with.
The Recruit Phase lasts between 30 and 90 days. During that time you will hopefully become a Full Member of Legion of Myth.
I know this may sound like a lot, but it is really a simple process designed to help you get to know us and the guild, as well as help us get to know you.
There are three basic things you can do to streamline this application process. - Post intelligently and often. - Get to know the people in the guild. - Read and abide by the guild rules and charter.
Good Luck on your application! I look forward to crushing this insignificant rebellion alongside you.
Long live the Empire! Long live the Legion of Myth!
By my hand, Lieutenant Khamax OIC Recruitment

See... thats how form letters should be used!
Also, on the main LoM forums, Recruit Phase needs to be bold.

Khamax, please either PM or e-mail Azurewyrm66 the Applicant Letter. Azure is a RL friend of mine from the Air Force, and was a member of a couple of the same EQ guilds I was in (including Esoteric Empire). Right now Azure is playing Shadowbane on the Trechery Server. Even though Azure is already a Full Member, I think it's a good idea to get into the habit of sending the Applicant letter to everyone.
