So, just wanting to help the General out, I decided to look up his scimatic needs (swgcraft.com)... Just fyi, if he buys every one of his resources at 3cpu it'll cost him roughly 1200 to make a crate of 25 moun..
And we're selling them at 8k.
Heh, Not that I'm thinking of changing professions mind you, I knew what I went into when I picked the purer crafting lines, but "Damn"

Right now it's nice. However ...
~ Don't forget travel cost involved getting the resources and paying for the factory maintenance and power, too.
~ There is much talk about making Spices experimental and resource quality dependant. I hope they don't do that. I don't want to waste my time worrying about the quality of my wares, if I wanted to do that, I'd have been an artisian.
Nothing against you crafters out there ... in fact, I respect the work you have to go through to make a quality product!! But it's not my type of fun. At least I'll still have slicing, huh?

Wait wait wait wait wait WAIT!
You don't have to have quality OR experiment to get good spices? OMFG
::gets out the nerf bag::
Holy friggin hand genades.. .. ok.. actually i'm laughing.. I have to use Seriously top quality resources, get Great or Amazing successes on all my experimentations (all 6 componets) just to have a CHANCE at getting a BER 13 H. Harvester.
Do NOT spread around that you guys don't... There'd be such an emotional outcry I bet sony would hire more security for thier HQ.

Honestly, between the no hassle crafting and the fact that it went well with my Pistoleer skills is why I picked Smuggler.
I can't harvest because I have no lots. (That damn PA Hall takes 9 of the 10) I need something to do to make money on the side.
Honestly, I see your point. If I had to take an objective look, then yes, even in life there is a certainly a difference in quality of drugs. Like all things, it SHOULD be based on the quality of ingredients and crafting.
But do you see why *I* need for it NOT to be resource quality based? (Kinda selfish, I know ... but that's why I chose smuggler and not Doc or Chef)

Yeah General, I see. It fits nicely, I'm just incredibly surprises with the nerfs that the crafting classes are getting that a hybrid class has it easier Was nothing against you personally ;D ;D

yet another advantage to the General's product: they are consumable and need repurchased after a single use... many other artisan products are not therefore you would suffer having less customers on average once the market is flooded with the product.
