Well, it didn't take near as long as I expected, but I've gotten to the point where not only am I breaking even moneywise, but also making decent profits (30k after fuel and maint this week alone). I'm useing all 10 plots and producing a large variety of raw materials that is keeping me pretty well diversified.
Next step is getting my architech skills up to where I can start pounding out the good harvesters. I must say, that the cost per resource from personal harvesters are pretty nice, not to mention that they are overall cheap to run (1k will run one for a whole day). Power is still a concern, but I just found a nice Radioactive spot that I placed two BER4's on. It's a run, but worth it for the extra security.
At any rate, I've updated my current skills in the appropriate places.
