Okay, we all know that one of the biggest draws to the Star Wars universe are the Jedi. So it stands to reason most (if not all) people are going to want to be one. We also know that the Empire isn’t particularly fond of Jedi. So, my question to you all is ...
Should we allow Jedi and/or Dark Jedi into Legion of Myth?
Here is my view:
Although the Empire has sworn to destroy the Jedi, we are not the Empire ... we are the Legion of Myth. We are allies of the Empire, not subservient to them. However, by having Jedi, we may be causing ‘issues’ with the Empire, other Imperial PAs and or even the Lore of the game. This is an issue we must think strongly and clearly on before making any rash decisions.
I think we should allow any Dark Jedi that wishes to join us as long as they openly swear fealty to the Legion of Myth and our alliance with the Empire. On pain of being made known to the Emperor (and every Imperial PA we can inform) said character will be branded should they go against the Legion of Myth and/or the Empire.
(Remember, the FS slot is perma-death ... the third time you die ... *poof*)

I say we decide this when we know how Sony see dark jedi in the game. It would break continuity , but as opposed to light jedi who start as Rebels , dark jedi may choose to join the empire. If so, i d say yes, lets allow dark jedi into the guild. But i think the faq says, that dark jedi will be hunted by all - Rebellion and Empire , since vader hates ALL jedi. If that s the case, it will be a hard decision. Let s not decide it now, let s all see how dark jedi turn out to be regarding thier faction and decide then. From a roleplaying standpoint , all jedi are kos to us, but like callandryn said, we are pro- empire, but still have our own goal.
Like i said , lets see what dark jedi will turn out to be in this game and sony point on it, and then decide.

I say no to both and here is my reasons behind it.
[glow=green,2,300]light Jedi[/glow] 1. Do we want a Luke Skywalker running around. 2. Isn't one bad enough 3. Light Jedi dont attack they only defend themselves.
[glow=purple,2,300]Dark Jedi[/glow] 1. They are evil pricks. 2. They turn on themselves. 3. The only power they get is by killing more and more, and over time the have to destroy a planet to get xp they want. 4. There law is survival of the strongest plane and simple
This is my oppinion mind you but I have done some research in the holo library. ;D

Yes, Dark Jedi, or at least the ones that are written about in the stories of old and the newscasts of today are pure evil and opposite to the Light Jedi. But perhaps, if we consider those that are not mentioned in story or those that do not make the headlines. Is anyone that is not a Jedi, a Dark Jedi? Or are there just outcasts? Could a Jedi be cast away for reasons other than an evil heart?
Is it possible that there are those strong with the Force that choose to follow a path other than those two that are widely known to all? Perhaps there are those strong with the Force that are more concerned with human progression as a species... If that is the case, they would not follow the path of the light, for to choose one species as superior over another would certainly not agree with the teachings of the Jedi. And the concern over a race beyond the care of oneself would certainly not fit the self-serving mold of a Dark Jedi.
I believe there could be just as many variations in personality and honor within the Jedi sect as there are with any species or person. And if I'm right, there will be those that could aid us in our cause without leading us off our chosen path or making us turn a blind eye to our beliefs.
We are allies with the Empire. The reason we are not one with them... the same, as far as I can tell, is because we are different in some ways if not many. We ally with them due to our similarities but do not take the next step due to our differences. So wouldn't logic dictate that our mandates would not always mirror the Empire's 100% of the time?
Just a thought.
