I gave them our web page and informed the that we wern't set up with a guild hall yet but would inform them when we do. I also told them if they need to contact us they should go through me and If Im not available to go to my boss Lt. Col. Kodoss. hehehehe

Excellent. Was al this done in-game? Or was this done via Message Boards and such?

If done in-game, keep it up. (Remember, positive spin is good.)

If done via forums and message boards, I'd like you to post your rough draft in the Order of Officers forums before continuing on. We (the officers) can work on making a generic 'First Contact' post that all you'd have to do is cut and paste. This will also ensure that spelling and such is correct, too.

I've made modifications to the posts up above and will be adding more when I get a chance to catch up on my email in game... Damn I have alot of email.

Most of the people I have contacted say they will work with us only if we are put our guild close to theres or as soon as we lay our building down.

I have made contact with 1-2 other guilds that passed there info on to me If you would like I can pass that info to the officers.
This info includes there web page if they have one and the loctation of there guild house.

like i said yesterday , this was to be expected since not many people even know about us yet, so their reaction is understandable.

Shayla there is a thread here: forums.station.sony.com/swg/board?board.id=Starsider where pa s get to advertise themselves.

The thread is called "starsider player associations"

Please post our information there and maybe an additional non - sticky one.

Maybe post what you are going to write there in here before , so we can proof - read it and add some ideas and suggestions.

Legion of Myth will allow characters of any race to join the guild as Recruits and Full Members as long as they choose to willing serve the Empire. However, no race outside of Human may be promoted to officer.

Using the word ‘Must’ or ‘Will’ or ‘Mandatory’ is a mental turn off. When people look at those words they (subconsciously) see ‘controlling’ ... ‘ass holes’ ... and so forth. There are better words to use.

Example:
1. Everyone must adhere to all the laws of the Legion of Myth and will be held accountable to them.

2. Everyone is to adhere to the Legion of Myth policies is held accountable to them.

Okay, so not the best sentence structure, but you get the idea. #1 looks like someone has a boot to their head while #2 says the same thing, but mentally is more appealing. It’s a human nature concept.

Also, shorter URLs are better. Since one can get to our site without typing in /index.htm it’s better to cut it off.
